Dealer websites

Pick a design. Your cars are already on it.

Your inventory, already online, with a page for every car and an easy way for a shopper to ask about one. Make it look like your lot, and change it whenever you like.

Free with your account, and your web address is included.

The designer

Change anything, without touching code.

Pick one of eight designs and see it with your own cars in it before you commit. Then it is yours: the colors and fonts, the words, the photos, which sections appear and in what order, right down to whether a section shows on phones.

  • Eight whole designs, from a plain banner-and-inventory site to a dark showroom
  • Colors suggested from your own logo, and a warning if a pair is hard to read
  • Add a ready-made section — hours and a map, your photos, your team — or build one
  • Twenty points to go back to, so trying something is never a risk

What's on your site

What a shopper looks for before they call.

Inventory that stays current

The cars come from the inventory you already keep in DealerDesker and put on a deal. Turn one on or off and the site follows, mark it sold and you're asked to take it down, and hide a price and shoppers see Call for price instead.

A page for every car

Photos that open full screen, the specs, a free recall check, and a monthly payment a shopper can work out themselves — then buttons to call, text, get directions or start a credit application.

Easy to narrow down

Shoppers filter by make, model, year, price, mileage, body style and color, put a few side by side, save the ones they like, and ask to hear if a price drops. Every search is a link they can send to someone.

Every question in one place

Messages land in your dashboard next to the car they were about, and reach your admins by email as well. Hit reply and you're talking to the shopper.

In the languages your customers speak

Run the whole site in any of eight languages. We suggest the translations; you read them over, change what you want, and a shopper gets your site in their own words.

Found where shoppers look

Every page carries its own title and description for search, your Google reviews can show on the site, and your cars can feed Facebook's and Google's vehicle listings.

Design with AI

Say what you want. Watch it get built.

Type it the way you would say it out loud — make it look more premium, add a page about financing — and the designer builds it while you watch, a step at a time, on your own site with your own cars in it.

  • It tells you its plan first, then does it one step at a time, in your words
  • Nothing reaches a shopper until you publish, and one click undoes the whole thing
  • It will not invent a sale, a review, a staff list or a number about your dealership
The Design with AI panel: the dealer has asked to make the site look more premium and add a financing page, and the three steps of the plan are ticked off one by one, above a reminder that nothing is live until they publish and a button to undo the whole turn.

Setup

Three steps to a live site.

  1. 1

    Pick a design

Open the designer and try the eight designs with your own vehicles in them. Take the one that fits your lot.

  2. 2

    Make it yours

Change the colors, the words and the photos, or say what you want and let the designer build it. Before you publish we tell you what's still missing.

  3. 3

    Publish it

The site goes live on its free web address. Move it to an address you own whenever you're ready.

Your web address

A free one to start, or the one on your business cards.

Every site comes with a free address and you pick the name. When you are ready for your own, point one you already own at the site, or find and buy one without leaving the designer.

  • The free address is included, and you can rename it yourself
  • Already own one? Point it here and we tell you exactly what to add, and check it for you
  • Buying one costs what the registrar charges us and not a cent more
The Web addresses panel: the free address that comes with the site, shown live; the dealership's own address finishing its setup and becoming the main one; and a row for buying an address at cost.

Dealer website questions

What happens when a car sells?

When you mark a vehicle sold or leased, DealerDesker asks whether to take it off your website, so nobody calls about a car that's already gone.

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. Pick a design, change the words and pictures you want changed, and press publish. If you would rather not do even that, say what you want in a sentence and the designer does it for you to look over first.

Where do the pictures and the hours come from?

Vehicle photos come from the vehicle, so they are never out of step with your inventory. Your logo, address, phone and opening hours come from your dealership profile, which is why they are right on every page at once. Anything else — the lot, your team — you add yourself.

How do I know if it's working?

Your dashboard shows how many people visited, which pages they spent time on, where they came from, and how many tapped Call, Text or Directions.

Does the site work on phones?

Yes. Everything is laid out for phones, tablets and computers, and a bar across the bottom of the screen keeps Call and Directions one tap away.
